Our Story

A home is personal. The work you put into it should feel that way, too.

Since 2017, JR Remodeling has served homeowners across the Charlotte area with bathroom and kitchen remodeling and restoration services. We are a family-owned business led by Carlos Rodriguez, with a practical approach: understand the home, listen to the homeowner, and plan the work around the project.

Whether you are rethinking a kitchen, creating a custom shower, or restoring a space after damage, our focus is on the details that make your home work better for you.

Good remodeling starts with understanding what matters to you.

Carlos leads JR Remodeling's work in bathroom and kitchen remodeling and restoration. His approach puts the conversation first: how you use your space, what you want to change, and which details matter most.

From the first discussion through the final walkthrough, the goal is a project you can understand, with a defined scope and room to ask questions along the way.

The details matter

Behind the Work

A finished room is only part of the story.

In a bathroom or kitchen, planning involves more than choosing a tile or a cabinet finish. Layout, existing conditions, materials, and the sequence of work all need consideration.

For wet areas, preparation and water-management details are important parts of the project discussion. Restoration begins with understanding the affected space and identifying the work needed.

  • Review the space and the goals for the project.
  • Discuss materials, finishes, and relevant installation details.
  • Define the scope before moving into construction.

From your first idea to the final walkthrough

How We Work

A clear starting point and a step-by-step approach help turn a project idea into a defined plan.

  1. Talk through your goals

Tell us about your space, priorities, and the project details you already have in mind.

  2. Visit your home

Review the space in person, discuss existing conditions, and explore the possibilities.

  3. Define the scope

Review a written estimate and scope of work, including the decisions needed to move forward.

  4. Coordinate the build

Organize the work, discuss project updates, and address questions or proposed changes.

  5. Walk through together

Review the completed scope, discuss any remaining items, and cover relevant care information.

Every home and project is different. Scheduling, selections, and project-specific terms are discussed as part of your estimate and planning.

A practical, personal approach
